​Visual Novels have always been a passion of ours that seems to be overlooked by most gaming companies. We believe that oftentimes, the best thing about a game is the narrative and development of the story. This is something that sadly gets overlooked in exchange for mindless action in most modern titles. With the help of Cardano and the community, we hope to bring back the emotions and personal connections people feel when roleplaying as someone in a video game.

The Kanojo Project is a game that will explore the isolation and loneliness one feels in a world that seems entirely superficial. Sometimes, you don't need someone to save you. People can be saved by themselves, with a little help and insight from 2D characters.
NFT RARITY GUIDE
BACKGROUNDS
Backgrounds will function as special event keys or triggers.
As with standard visual novels, choices will appear as you progress throughout the story. Depending on the background of your NFT, you will have access to additional choices and bonus scenes in that chapter of the story. While it is completely possible to lock in an ending route without these optional choices, these options may make it easier or harder to trigger certain event flags.

CHARACTER POSES
Different character poses have different event clear points which trigger both dialogue and route flags
Each corresponding character pose has a set amount of points to unlock ending routes, regardless of dialogue choice.

For example:
100% of the flags to unlock the idol secret boyfriend route have been fulfilled but the player wants to pursue the wedding ending. If you only hold a "waving" pose NFT, you cannot reverse the route without restarting the game and making the proper choices for the wedding ending. However, with a "love" pose NFT, it is possible to change the route mid-game and instead pursue the wedding ending despite being locked into the idol secret boyfriend route.

KANJI SYMBOLS
Kanji Symbols will be used as a bonus points for fulfilling the requirements of reaching what relationship the main character chooses to have at the end.

This is directly linked with character poses. While character poses allows you to change your route at any time, the final ending of that route is still subject to player choices made within each route. The final relationship status choices at the end will be split into 6. Each symbol will contain different bonus points that can influence the end choices.
​
If the player holds multiple NFT's, the highest bonus points of each individual symbol will be applied.
